Position Overview:

The Talent Advisor serves as a strategic bridge between the talent pipeline and hiring managers. In this role, your primary focus is to advocate for high-potential talent and ensure they are prioritized for interviews. You will act as a dedicated partner to hiring managers, helping them navigate their options, challenging their requirements when necessary, and championing the best candidates to drive the hiring process forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Advocacy: Present shortlisted talent to hiring managers in a compelling way, highlighting key strengths and “selling” the potential fit to ensure the manager proceeds with an interview.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Provide professional recommendations to hiring managers, helping them understand the value of specific candidates and keeping the recruitment process moving efficiently.
  • Strategic Push-Back: Actively challenge hiring managers on requirements that do not align with the market and provide critical feedback on the roles and profiles received.
  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Maintain consistent communication with hiring managers to understand their evolving needs and act as a critical friend to ensure high standards.
  • Profile Assessment: Review and evaluate candidate applications to ensure they meet quality standards while defending “hidden gems” that may not meet every traditional criteria.
  • Pipeline Management: Monitor the talent pool to ensure hiring managers have a steady stream of qualified profiles and overcome any internal bottlenecks in the process.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of recruitment or sales experience with a focus on stakeholder influence and candidate advocacy.
  • Proven ability to professionally push back on hiring managers and challenge misaligned requirements.
  • Excellent English skills with a natural ability to pitch talent and influence hiring decisions.
  • Strong conviction in candidate selection and the ability to defend high potential talent.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust based relationships and act as a critical partner to managers.
  • Analytical mindset to provide critical feedback on roles and ensure actionable responses from stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to driving pipeline momentum and overcoming hiring bottlenecks.

  • Experience with IT recruitment.
  • Experience with Sales, Marketing, and Creatives recruitment.
