
The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Transport Department has the following Internship
opportunity available for a period NOT exceeding eighteen 18 months.

Remuneration:
(Qualification completed with min 360 credits): R10 109,86 pm (Basic Salary, no benefits)
Location: 75 Helen Joseph Street, Old Mutual Building, or in any region
where the City is implementing a Public Transport
Infrastructure Programme
Minimum Requirements:
- A Matric/Grade 12 Certificate;
- B Degree in Quantity Surveying at NQF level 7;
- No experience;
- Only City of Joburg residents will be considered.
Primary Function:
Prepare and review quantities for Transport Infrastructure programmes (Taxi Ranks,
BRT stations, Roadways, Non-Motorised Transport Facilities, maintenance, etc.)
Measurement of quantities when Interim Payment Certificates are prepared, and
monitoring invoices with regard to claims from the Implementing Agent.

- Risk – to proactively manage foreseen project risks, as and when necessary.
